America’s worst company, E.A., has confirmed that FIFA 2013 will be available for Android devices later this year. An E.A. spokesperson stated that iOS will receive the game a bit earlier than ‘other mobile platforms’ which is no surprise to us. There hasn’t been too much detail about what is in-store for us in this iteration of FIFA. We’re sure that we will get a lot more information at this year’s E3 gaming conference which will take place next month.
Though I am excited for the next installment of FIFA, E.A.’s horrible reputation for providing minuscule support to the plethora of Android devices out there is just plain unacceptable . Till this day I still haven’t been able to play games like Real Racing 2 due to some compatibility issues or server side problems. Let’s hope E.A.’s new title of being the worst company in America will lead them to do right by Android users.
With alternatives like the Pro Evolution series, FIFA might just lose a large game demographic if they don’t step it up. Either way, rest assure we’ll be getting all the details about FIFA (or any other noteworthy soccer game) as soon as they come down the pipe.
