No, you’re not stuck in a Total Recall facility somewhere in the future. Your memories didn’t deceive you, a Total Recall game was released last month. However this new Total Recall game forgoes the recent summer blockbuster and instead centers on the original 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger starred film.
For those who find both the reboot film and the mobile game tie in a bit…unoriginal, this Total Recall suits the universe a bit tighter. Unlike the on rails shooter that was released a few weeks back, Total Recall The Game: Episode 1 is of a side scroller shooter variant complete with different weapons platforming and power ups.
As the title suggest, the game will be served in an episodic fashion. This first take has you following Douglas Quaid to Mars on his quest to unravel the mystery behind his memories. Developers ConcoursMania Montpellier promises regular episodic content so for those of you who have never dipped into the Total Recall story should be patient. Or just watch the original movie.
